Krayzie Bone

The Fixtape Volume III: Lyrical Paraphernalia

Krayzie Bone of Bone Thugs-N-Harmony released The Fixtape Volume III: Lyrical Paraphernalia. A concept was presented to Michael Biondo, in which he used his style to create an original oil painting that became featured within the album art. The painting was used as the artwork on the compact disc, and the sleeve under the cd.

Technical Design

The concept was to use an older reference of skeleton illustrations that represented each of the Bone Thugs-N-Harmony members from album art of their single, The First of the Month. Since the album was titled, Lyrical Paraphernalia, the skeleton is smoking a cigar with music notes within the smoke. The Bone Thugs-N-Harmony bandana is an attribute of Krayzie Bone's appearance: he is seen wearing a similar bandana in a couple of music videos and concert footage.

The remainder of the album art was designed by Cody Hillyer, whom contacted me personally for this commission. It's an honor to be able to be a part of such a great production.
